For years, traditional homebuilders have said that strong, druable
homes can only be built one way:
- On a building site open to the elements exposing the home to rain, snow, mud and theft.
- Using low-bidding contractors with little or no quality control and high turnover
- Buying building materials locally without bulk quantity discounts
- Accepting weather delays, cost overruns and hidden quality problems
At Cavalier Home Builders, we have a better way.
We build homes in weather protected building centers with a stable and reliable workforce.
Our skilled associates work in a warm, clean environment, out of the weather.
They’re allowed to concentrate on specific tasks and become experts at understanding the requirements.
Volume purchasing enables us to deliver amenity-filled homes on time and at competitive prices.
Our use of jigs, quality control systems and independent third party inspectors assures that the homeowners will
get the quality they deserve. Our homes are built under the federal building code administered by the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This HUD code regulates home design, construction, strength
and durability, transportability, fire resistance, energy efficiency and general quality. The HUD code also sets
standards for the heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
Every Cavalier home passes a 12-point inspection before it ever leaves the factory, ensuring
that it is weather tight, properly trimmed, and outfitted the way you want it. We check all mechanical and
electrical systems, cabinets and doors, chimneys, vents, and flues. The complete start-to-finish approach
to the construction of your home is one of the reasons there are thousands of happy Cavalier homeowners
enjoying the strength and beauty of the homes we built for them!
